For some, even the smallest question can feel threatening.
These exclamation marks… towers of certitude… are terrified of this tiny question.
They intuitively know that it can completely undermine their dogmatism.
This is why I love the mind of David Hayward! Questions are so powerful. A simple ‘why?’ can topple the strongest absolutes. Never be afraid to question things, even if it’s the opinions of those you normally agree with. I love when people of like mind challenge me, it forces me to re-evaluate my thought process. Usually re-examining my ideas lead me to standing by them, but occasionally a simple question causes me to see things in a whole new light and completely changes my worldview.
Never be afraid to ask questions. Always be wary of those not open to being questioned.
