There are a countless number of people that could have come & gone from my life.
And although I’m not a believer in fate, its much more incredible & “unbelievable” when understanding how we all operate & are all just trying to understand life & navigate ourselves toward happiness.
The reality that we have randomly drifted into each others’ existence, setting the course long ago by carving out of life our interests, dislikes, passions, preferences, peers, curiosities/questions & ourselves, which set the foundation for the road we’ve constructed or chosen in this life - and out of all the crossroads we have arrived throughout our lives,
we find ourselves meeting each other at one of them.
As much as we could sit around & discuss how rare & improbable it is that this could actually happen amongst two people such as we, I prefer to hold back on asking any more questions until we can begin searching for answers in life together.
The adventure that lies at our feet is ours to mold & explore, & I’m hesitant to look any further for those answers than behind your eyes.
“Not explaining science seems to me perverse. When you’re in love, you want to tell the world.”
—Carl Sagan, 1996
