Nick Howes took this narrowband image of the Veil nebula on September 19, 2010. The Veil nebula is a supernova remnant located in the constellation Cygnus. It’s part of a larger structure called Cygnus Loop.
Nick used a 4″ refractor telescope, on an EQ6 mount, and a set of narrowband filters, with an Arik 314L CCD camera.
